Can you care for a website you didn't build?

Absolutely! While many InspiredWP clients have websites originally designed and built by our team, we also welcome existing WordPress websites.

Before beginning ongoing care, we’ll complete a Website Evaluation to familiarize ourselves with your site, hosting environment, plugins, integrations, and overall website health. If we discover anything that should be addressed before your Care Plan begins, we’ll provide clear recommendations and next steps.

Is there an onboarding or sign-up fee?

If we recently designed or actively maintain your website, onboarding is typically complimentary. Websites that are new to our team may require a one-time Website Evaluation before joining InspiredWP. This allows us to understand how your site was built, identify potential issues, complete necessary updates, and ensure we’re comfortable taking responsibility for its ongoing care.

What's the difference between technical support and monthly website updates?

Technical support covers troubleshooting and resolving issues that affect the normal operation of your website – things like software conflicts, broken functionality, update-related issues, errors, and performance problems.

Website update time, included with our Growth and Thrive plans, is for changes you’d like us to make to your site – such as updating copy or images, adding content, posting blogs, creating forms, updating events, or making small design improvements.

If a request becomes a larger project or requires functionality beyond your monthly support time, we’ll provide an estimate before moving forward.

What can I use my monthly website support time for?

Growth and Thrive clients can use their included support time for many of the everyday things that keep a website fresh and evolving: content updates, image changes, blog posts, event updates, form changes, minor design refinements, landing-page edits, and similar requests. If we can reasonably complete it within your available monthly time, it’s generally fair game.

Does unused monthly support time roll over?

No. Your monthly support time reserves dedicated capacity on our team’s calendar each month, so unused time does not roll over. If you consistently need more or less support, we’ll happily help you adjust your plan.

What if I need more support than my plan includes?

Hosting fees are not included in InspiredWP Care Plans. However, we’ll help oversee your hosting environment and work with your hosting provider when technical issues arise. If your current hosting isn’t meeting your site’s needs, we can also recommend trusted providers and manage your website migration and setup.

Is website hosting included?

No problem. Additional website, design, development, or strategic support can be added at our current hourly rate or through a Mini-Project Block.

For larger requests, we’ll provide a separate scope and estimate before beginning work – so there are no surprise invoices.

My hosting company already makes backups. Why do I need InspiredWP backups?

Hosting backups are useful, but we don’t believe your website’s recovery plan should depend on a single system.

InspiredWP maintains independent website backups as an additional layer of protection, giving our team quick access to clean restore points if something goes wrong.

What happens if my website goes down, gets hacked, or breaks?

That’s exactly why we’re here. We proactively monitor InspiredWP sites for uptime, security, software health, and other potential issues. If something goes wrong, we’ll investigate, troubleshoot, restore from a clean backup when appropriate, and work to get your website functioning properly again. While no website can be guaranteed 100% immune from security incidents, proactive maintenance dramatically reduces risk and helps us respond much faster when problems occur.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

Monthly Care Plans are designed to be ongoing relationships, but you’re not locked into a long-term commitment. You may cancel according to the terms outlined in your InspiredWP Service Agreement. Annual plans include preferred pricing in exchange for the annual commitment; applicable cancellation and refund terms are outlined in your agreement.

Can I change plans later?

Of course! Your website—and your business—will evolve. You can upgrade your level of care as your needs grow, and we’ll also let you know if we believe another plan would better support you.
